Introducing the Arts Together groups

Arts Together groups have a maximum of twelve members. We meet every week, thirty times a year - punctuated with a Christmas, Easter and Summer break. Sessions last for two and a half hours including the serving of lunch by the Arts Together team.

The key to the groups' success is that none of the participants are ‘arty’ but all are willing to ‘have a go’. The result is a great deal of enjoyment and surprise. All the Arts Together group members and staff are proud that it is 'not TV and Bingo'.

Each group is facilitated by a carefully selected artist, who is supported by at least one volunteer and a registered carer. All of the Arts Together team have enhanced CRB disclosure and regular training and advice sessions.
