Play with Patterns

There is something very soothing about making patterns. Either find a shape and repeat it or go wild with dots and colours. The possibilities are endless – as are patterns.

YOU WILL NEED

ACTIVITY

You may want to just get going and doodle. Or you can find a shape (a tin, jar, bottle top, box, anything you can find) to draw around. You can start by creating a row of shapes then turn the object around, upside down or sideways.

Add different colours to the shapes while you develop your pattern.

You could section your sheet into smaller squares and make a small pattern in each square.
